"Income Tax" law wasn't ratified by the US government. Some IRS agents say that this tax is not legal and people shouldn't pay this tax. Other taxes must be paid, but Income Tax is under question. Is it true?

  1. ·THINGS I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL I SAW THEM ON THE INTERNET:

Nobody ever really landed on the moon - it was a giant hoax. What you saw on TV was filmed in Utah.

Elvis is still alive, and performing marriage ceremonies in Las Vegas.

It is unconstitutional for the government to tax your wages (income tax), the 16th amendment was never ratified, and most of what we think of as income isn't really income anyway.

Excuse me now....I just won 2 million pounds in the online UK lottery when my email was randomly selected, and I have to go answer the email.....

  2. Technically you don't have to pay income tax. But it is a rather complicated issue and you most likely will not be able to own anything either if you choose not to pay.

  3. Some people say all kinds of stupid things. Some people believe them because they hear what they want to hear. An IRS agent who maintains that the tax is not legal would be invited to resign.  One former one who did has since had his CPA license revoked by the state and disbarred by IRS.

  4. NO...if you don't pay your income tax, you will owe the TAX, penalties and interest. The IRS can take everything you own and then garnish your wages. (and they do it every day...)

So if you don't want to pay your income tax here in the US...MOVE to another country and pay theirs...

  5. of course you don't have to pay your income taxes. People just do it because it's a fun thing to do. For example, the rich people who spend millions on lawyers in order to exploit tax loopholes could really just not pay taxes; however, it's more fun to do it their way.

And guess what? you even get rewarded if you don't pay your taxes: federal agents give you a free place to stay and free meals. Sure it's called prison, but after you get over the ***-raping it's pretty much just like a shoddy B&B.

  6. Yes, you are legally obligated to pay income taxes.  You are welcome to believe otherwise, but no court has ever ruled against the IRS on this and none will.

Several years ago, I car pooled with a guy who loved to listen to the local far right talk radio station. When driving with him, I noticed that one of the main sponsors of their afternoon commute show was a guy who sold books and seminars promising you would never have to pay taxes again and the IRS couldn't touch you.  A major sponsor of their morning show was a law firm that specialized in helping people whose assets and paychecks were being seized because they hadn't paid their taxes.  I always found the combination amusing, and wondered how many clients of the tax lawyers were former graduates of the phony seminar.
