Some place to volunteer over the holidays?

I have 2 weeks off school for the holidays, and a mother in law who wouldn't mind watching my son for a day here and there. I'm trying to find some place (specific, not just general ideas!) to volunteer that wouldn't require a long term commitment... Just want to do something nice for someone else over the holidays. Ideas?
