Some question about eyes :3..?

I got my eyes checked at school in some thing called the "vision van" :3 and the glasses they gave me, I think the lenses aren't quite right .__. since they make everything look so strange (and my old glasses doesn't even do that x.x but I lost them three weeks ago).

Im gonna go buy new glasses probably next week :3 I might want to get them checked again ...

* but I heard that you can't get your eyes checked more than once a year. Why is that? And is it true?

Provided you can afford it you can have your eyes checked as often as you like. Having them checked often does not hurt you in any way.
