My sister has got an admission to one of Canada's universities for her master's degree. She has applied for her student visa from Canada embassy, now I have some questions:
1. Do they issue the student visa for 1 year and does she have to extend it each year? or would they give the student visa for all the length of her study (2 years)?
2.Although she has the interest in the field that she has been admitted to she thinks that, she may have more interests in another fields, and she is eager to apply for a degree program other than the field of her bachelor's degree which has studied in her home country here. But the uiversity that she has been accepted in doesn't have such fields of study either in undergraduate or graduate studies.
Can she go there with this student visa and from there apply for another field from another university from the beginnig of her studies? If so how many semeseters does she need to pay the tuition for the field that she has been accepted to now before going to another field in another university.?
3. If she applies for Permanent Resident visa from Canada at the beginning of her studies (she already has the 67 points of the permanent residency), how long later would she get her Permanent Residence visa?
4. Can she visit u.s.a while she has student visa of Canada? or she will need a u.s.a visa too? and if she requires visit visa for visting usa, while she has the student visa of Canada, how long it takes to get visit visa for u.s.a from Canada in this case?
