1. Queen Victoria ascended the throne at a time when the United Kingdom was already an established constitutional monarchy in which the king or queen held few political powers, she still served as a very important symbolic figure of her time. The Victorian era represented the height of the Industrial Revolution, a period of significant social, economic, and technological progress in the United Kingdom. Victoria's reign was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire; during this period it reached its zenith, becoming the foremost global power of the time.

Queen Victoria was only the head of The Church of England as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England, a religious title, that was passed since King Henry VIII of England since England broke away from the Roman Catholic faith. The Supreme Governor of the Church of England is a title held by the British Monarchs which signifies their titular leadership over the Church of England. Even though the monarch's authority over the Church of England is not strong, the position is still very relevant to the church and is mostly observed in a symbolic capacity.

It takes a minute to get exactly the same answers they others give you by going to wikipedia. Yet, you ask others to do that for you. Are you copying and pasting their answers into your book?

  3. I don't think she had any major Accomplishments after she lost her husband Albert she became almost a recluse and lived on the Isle of Wight most of her rein.

She was the absolute monarch all Kings and Queens of the U.K. are.

She was head of the church of England as all monarchs are.

No monarch is head of the Military or legal System this is governed by Parliament.

Basically the King or Queen of the U.K. and its colonies are just figureheads, the Country is run by the govenment of the day.
