Some questions about Wii Shop Channel.

I have 1,000 Wii points and I'm not sure what I want to get:

1) An N64 game (I don't want LoZ:OoT and I heard SM64's controls were terrible)

2) Two games from NES

3) One game from NES and the Internet channel

4) A Wii-Ware game

If you like RPG's get Paper Mario for the N64.

Depends on if theres any games you want. Save it if you dont want any right now. Why buy a pointless game just to kill time? But i would recommend getting the internet channel. Cause its pretty sweet when the computers tied up, or u wanna watch youtube in your room or on a big screen.

Lets see...

1. There are many good games for the N64 but personally, I don't think the sop channel is the way to go for the N64. 10 dollars is way to much for some of those games. If you already have an N64, I suggest that you just go buy the real cartridge from a game store.

If you really want to get an N64 on the wii shop, go for sin and punishment or F-Zero 64. Paper Mario 64 is one of the best games ever so you might want that.

And yes, you are right, Super Mario 64 is an awful game and I don't know what anyone sees in it.

2. lets see, 2 NES games....well I will tell you what you absolutely shouldn't get. DON'T get Kid Icarus. I don't care what anyone says, it is a crappy game.

Oh and if battle toads is on there, you should definitely get that, that game is pretty awesome.

3. Don't get the internet channel, it is a waste of time and money. I use it like once a year and I only have it because it was originally free and now it is only 5 bucks.

4. Wii-Ware is probably your best bet for a good game for cheap monies. Now I have heard the defend your castle is great, I have not yet played it but everyone raves about it.

Also, if you are into Pokemon, you may want to go for My Pokemon Ranch. I have not played this either but it kind of looks fun, if you squint your eyes really tight.

The only Wii-Ware game I have is Lost winds and I just can't recommend it high enough. It is a lot of fun with a great artistic style and fun gameplay. It is a tad short but it is only the first installment of the series. And if you are into those kind of games, you could do what I plan on doing with my friend which is that I buy one of the "episodes" and then my friend buys the next one and we just trade them on and off.

Lastly, if you like homestarrunner.com, the new Strong bad's Game 4 Attrasctive people will be out soon, if it's not already.
