Some questions are open for answers for a longer period of time?

Some of my questions are open for answers for a longer period of time than others. What is the amount of time that YahooAnswers will give each question for answers? I introduced 2 questions yesterday at about 5:00 PM and thid morning with just 5 or 6 answers I alredy have to choose a best answer. It is very unfair to give some questions a longer time for answers while others are given a shorter time for responce. So what is the real time allowed for each question to be answered?

Once the expiry date is due.

The door is shut.

Since one does not have the right answer.

One keep on trying and knocking again.

When all the earlier answer was shut with a slammed door.

it gives you three days to start out with but you can increase the time if you click on edit under your question, and extend time

when you send your question you can edit it after and get the option to open questions for longer period of time
