  1. ALL THE LITTLE MARKS  ON A COMPASS ARE DEGREES....A BEARING IS A MARK ON THE COMPASS THAT YOU STEER THE SHIP TO...

  2. i dont get it, it would be 3 parts if theres a drift involved...  didnt you forgert something???....

  3. 0 degrees is due north. 90 degrees is due east. 75 degrees is east by north east. I have no idea about this triangle. Is it supposed to show how far you travel north, or how far you travel east? It seems to me that you already know that you've covered 80 nautical miles from you point of origin. I'd say start with an X and Y diagram and draw a line from 0,0 at a 15 degree angle from horizontal that extends for 80 units. x^2 + y^2 = 80^2 and x = (15y)/75

  4. Read example #3!

  5. The answer to your question doesn't involve a triangle.  It consists of a single line with an arrow at the end extending from a point rightward nearly horizontally (exactly horizontal would be 90 degrees, or due east).  Therefore, the line should be inclined upwards slightly (about 1 unit up for every 20 units horizontally).  Label the line, "80 km".  This assumes, of course, that you are depicting north as upward.

  6. I believe a bearing is a heading or direction. But not positive.  So i believe it would be a Ship sails 80kilometers in a 75degree direction from were it started.  Not positive thoe
