Some reccomendations on some good books. ?

im looking for a good read or reads

i like stuff that has action adventure not alot of fantasy stuff

fiction but somewhat reality

i like series too

eragon is a really good book, it may be a bit more fantasy than you want. any stories by timora peirce

As to the previous suggestion, you wouldn't like Tamora Pierce. Those are fantasy books with a demographic of younger girls.

Try the Bourne series (the one the movies like Bourne Ultimatum and such were based off of), the Alex Rider series (Stormbreaker, Point Blank), and the Outsiders.

twilight saga (idk if u will like them but just try them out even tho its like vampires and scary things and stuff). eragon series, i really cant think of that many action or adventure books. i dont read many of those and am just not that type of person

1. Harry Potter (must read, even if you aren't super into fantasy)

2. Eragon (The inheritance "trilogy". [I put quote marks around trilogy because the author is going to write more in it])

3. A very good novel is "banner in the sky", it is really good.

4. Narnia

5. Lord of the rings

6. Enders game THEN Enders shadow (sci-fi)

All are very good. All are series except for banner in the sky (which is still very good).

try some of the Mickey Spillane books.

They are all fairly short and well written. Kind of like a 50's type detective novel

or

The Allan Quartermain books series is pretty good as well

Both of these series are actiona/adventure based and have that reality feel to them.

Try Love's Soft Voice. It is historical fiction. It is the love story between an American Indian man and a beautiful runaway African slave. The time frame is about the 17th century. The story is action packed and filled with strength, courage, survival, and culture.
