Hello my little moonlet,

are you Cheddar, blue or green?

Shall I put you in my omelet,

or make eggs Florentine?

You're gone when I awaken,

there's just the red hot sun.

It's time for eggs and bacon

and a sticky cinnamon bun.

I miss you little moonlet.

I love to see you shine

because you're there I'll soon get

to drink a fine old wine.

So keep on eating cheese my friend,

and quaffing down that wine.

Forget the moonlet's placement,

only yard-arm sun that matters.

Drink from your silver chalice and

tuck right into those platters!
