  1. Forest fires from less rain in areas.   Warmer soil has more microbial action breaking down the forest litter (branches, leaves, dead animals) into soil.   Release of methane from methane hydrates that can either catch fire or is used as a energy source by certain bacteria.    The problem now is CO2 is rising first, causing the GW.   When GW kicks in, even more CO2 will be released, thus raising temps even more.

  2. Yes they do.  This is a good one because it actually proves global warming is mostly man made.

CO2 is BOTH a cause of warming (greenhouse effect) and an effect (warmer ocean waters can't hold all their CO2, and release some).  This is simple, basic science.

Past warmings were started by the Sun.  Hundreds of years later (that's how long it takes, because it only can happen at the very surface) warmer ocean waters release CO2.

But this time is different.  CO2 and temperature are going up simultaneously.  The only logical conclusion is that, this time, CO2 is mostly a cause, where in the past it was an effect.

  3. The largest mechanism is probably when the oceans warm, CO2 comes out of solution from the water.

  4. co2 traps the warm.

  5. as temps rise CO2 is less soluble in water. this means that oceans will give off CO2 when they are heated and when they cool they absorb it.

so CO2 normally can not cause changes in climate but it provides feedback amplifying any changes. what's happening now is CO2 levels are increasing  before temp change and not following it allowing it to cause change and not just amplify it.
