Some say the Egyptians didn't build the pyramids??

Heard the Egyptians just moved in and digged holes in the monuments but not actually build them because of the lack of evidence of how they build these structures.

Do not trust anymore info from that individual!!!  The Egyptians built the pyramids.  Most archaeologists now think they know how.  Ramps and pulleys.

There is a great deal of knowledge that has been lost over the eons of time.  People are very good at imagining and making up answers to fill in the gaps.  Some of these people are archaeologists and scientists as well.  There is a strange phenomena in the human brain which won't allow for the "unknown" to remain a question.  

I believe that remaining open minded to plausible theories to all unknowns is a good idea, but I tend to try not to settle on an answer if there is really no evidence to support any of the theories.  

How the pyramids where built is truly a wonder of amazing proportion.  However, what evidence is being provided to support the "dig" theory? If it's just someones imagination, I wouldn't settle on it just yet.

About eighteen or twenty years ago I read in a journal that some French gentleman explained how the core and inner blocks were built. They actually made the limestone and poured it like it was concrete! I was really intrigued by this, but could not find anymore information on it. Just this year I found that some other scientists had proved him right and his theory is now becoming more and more accepted by the structure of the mixed stone in the pyramids, and the actual structure of limestone. There is a small difference large enough to make a difference between the mixed stone of the buildings, and the actual limestone.

I believe that in time this will be an accepted answer to the mystery as to how they built the pyramids.

the egyptians definitely built the pyramids. the confusing part to scientists is that they did so with such advanced mathmatic skills that we previously only thought we had access to with all our modern technology in todays time.

The Egyptians did the design and supervision.  The actual construction was done by slaves and criminals.  There is NO lack of evidence on how pyramids were made.

No, i truly believe that the Egyptians built the pyramids, because if you think about it, it would be impossible to achieve such precision perfection from basically just digging in a monument-or else how would it have been possible to build to many and not have it all crumble or topple down. As it would be impossible to find solid rock as in mountains and hills in a desert-which proves that they were made and built hand made.

The archaeological evidence is overwhelming that the Egyptians did in fact build the pyramids.  Sites where the workers lived and the tools they used as well as the actual quarry sites have all been found.  Whoever thinks the Egyptians did not build the pyramids probably also thinks we never landed on the moon.

That's outdated information.  Read the book "Pyramid" by David Macaulay.  He gives an excellent, and very simple explanation of  how the pyramids were built.

The newest findings made by european egyptologists claimed that the pyramids were motly made by molding and casting huge bricks on site... They may not have to carry the stone from far away as believed earlier. Those scientists, explain their theory by the fact that some of the pyramid stones are fitting over the other, like not cut stone would have done. Anyways, there is no blueprint of how they were built, and we don`t even expect to find any that could really defined once and for all how those pyramids were built.

Just by the way, the tunnels inside the pyramids were done before the the exterior, so they couldn`t be dig after its completion.
