  1. Birds

    Crocodiles

    Turtles

    Sharks and

    Horseshoe Crabs...

are all remnants of the dinosaurs, and lived during that period!

  2. I've not heard that.

Some people claim that birds are evolved dinosaurs, but others strongly disagree:

There are many problems with the dinosaur-to-bird dogma. Feduccia points out:

‘It's biophysically impossible to evolve flight from such large bipeds with foreshortened forelimbs and heavy, balancing tails,’ exactly the wrong anatomy for flight.15

There is also very strong evidence from the forelimb structures that dinosaurs could not have been the ancestors of birds. A team led by Feduccia studied bird embryos under a microscope, and published their study in the journal Science. Their findings were reported as follows:

New research shows that birds lack the embryonic thumb that dinosaurs had, suggesting that it is ‘almost impossible’ for the species to be closely related.

What is interesting is that dinosaur bones have been found containing the remnants of red blood cells, indicating that they cannot be 65 million years ago.

Those that think the dinosaurs died out millions of years ago are perhaps unaware of the large amount of evidence indicating that they lived recently alongside man.

There are many written accounts and depictions of dinosaurs.

Remember that the word dinosaur was invented in 1841. Before that people used names like dragon.

People from all over the world have accounts of dinosaurs: the Chinese who have incorporated it into their lunar calendar, The Welsh who have the dragon in their flag; The account of the Saxon Beowolf; The native american thunderbird; and other stories from many other nations. The Romans even made mosaics of them.

Dinosaurs have clearly only become extinct within hundreds of years. Posisbly some still exist in little explored areas?

  3. It's argued that dinosaurs had feathers for insulation and over millions of years evolved into birds. A number of the physical characteristics of dinos are also seen in birds

  4. There are many evidences from around the world that man and dinosaurs co-existed until fairly recent times. Cave paintings and drawings, petroglyphs, temple carvings, fabrics and artifacts. Some sightings like the ones at Loch Ness and Lake Champlain also seem to show that some might still be around.
