and put a 1L pop bottle in your toilet box thing (that thing behind ur toilet and controls water flow). it saves water

look, the fact that you started to decide that you have to do something is really the best way/thing that you did.

and then RESEARCH, ask, question what you can do and you can be involved, in simple steps the first answerer already made a list so follow it and practice and make it a natural way of living.

YOU DON;T HAVE TO BE A HERO TO SAVE A PLANET. and if SOMEBODY tells you something, then ignore thembecause you're doing the best that you can to atleast be fair for future generations.

-tell your parents to move your thermostat down 2 degrees in the winter and up 2 in the summer (you can't tell a difference until 3 degrees)

-tell your parents to buy compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs)

-use less hot water

-let your clothes airdry instead of using a dryer

-turn off electronic devices you're not using

-unplug electronic devices when you're not using them

-recycle!

-buy recycled products

-plant a tree! (shade can reduce your air conditioning use by 10-15% and it absorbs one ton of CO2 in its lifetime)

-walk, bike, or carpool

-tell your parents to keep their cars tuned up (when 1% of billions of car owners properly maintain their cars, nearly a billion pounds of carbon dioxide are kept out of the atmosphere)

-buy locally grown foods (how do your bananas get to the grocery store from Costa Rica? lots of gas.)

-buy organic foods (organic soils capture and store more CO2 than soils from conventional farms.  If we grew all of our corn and soybeans organically, we'd remove 580000000000 lbs of CO2 from the atmosphere!)

-avoid heavily packaged products (you can save 1200 lbs of CO2 if you cut down on garbage by 10%)

-eat more chiken (like chick-fil-a) (methane is the 2nd most significant greenhouse gas and cows are the biggest methane producers)

-turn off lights in rooms you wont be in for 15 minutes or more

-open window shades in the winter and close them in the summer

-once you can drive, don't speed! it uses more gas.

plant a tree and enjoy our beautiful earth!

I'm gonna tell you straight, you can't help save the earth, using a little less water here, changing bulbs, planting a bloody tree, it's not gonna do a d**n thing.

Your only 14 so you probably believe a lot of stuff people tell you but I'm older and I don't believe in anything I don't see with my own eyes.

They say there's global warming but is that really the truth?

There basing it on a few degree's of temperature rising and a bunch of ice melting, that to me is ridiculous.

The government also say that all the gas that goes into the air is destroying our planet, that only applies in places like china where there's millions of people on the roads every single day so naturally there's gonna be a lot of smog, but will it damage the earth? I don't think so.

So here's what I think, all this 'green' business is nothing more than a ruse to raise taxes on the people, to raise taxes you need a good reason so they use this without any decent proof because they know that people can't confirm it.

Ever since this green revolution the prices of air flights has sky rocketed, I had to pay an extra £40 because of it, not much you might think but then how about £40x5 million people, that comes to 20million they could be making every few months, then you have other taxes like recycling to 'save the planet'.

I know your just a kid but you need to open your eyes and stop believing all this c**p about global warming, not everything people say is the truth.
