Some singing questions????

Question

I showed my friend a vid of me singing, and he said i could sing, but then i recorded some songs that i wrote on my camera and i cant sing stuff i write. Any ideas why? <- i dont play an instrument. Just write then sing.

Then, i apparently sing 150% better when my friend plays guitar and i sing to it, like randomly freestyle a song. I can match the guitar perfectly and add creative little changes in my voice and he said it sounds amazing. But i cant sing when im recording on the camera. Whys this?

either your camera has a fault or you might not be 100% confident and the guitar helps your tuning
