  1. i would use a planner. There is a really good one by Mead Five Star that leaves space for you to write down all of your assignments.  Also, you could use different colored folders for all your classes.  But, make sure that you don't put other classes stuff in other folders (if that makes any sense).

Use a three ring binder so your papers don't go flying all over school.

Get a spiral notebook or a composition notebook for math.  It is a huge help if you have all your notes together.  This is THE way i succeed in math

Always take notes, if a teacher repeats what they are saying, then chances are that it will be on the test.

Keep a writing utensil handy, it's a pain to ask for one in the middle of class.

Ask for help.  I'm in high school myself so i know that it can be embarrassing when you need help, but if you need it ask for it!

Good luck your freshmen year, enjoy it because the years go by fast!

  2. lol well your bodys really good haha but as a junior i think i know

keep lots of folders to put your papers in and keep every subject seperate, make sure to pay attention in class and not talk to the many boys that will prlly be hitting on you lol and study a little bit each day and its pretty much guaranteed As if you just pay attention and study lightly

then you can hit me up on my myspace or facebook

  3. take good notes always pay attention write neatly always go over what you learn.

  4. I'm just starting too! Something that's always helped me is to color code all my materials for my classes in colors that I associate with them.

  5. you should get an agenda or somewhere that you could write all your homework in, make sure it is something you will never loose. Don't fall behind in your homework and make sure you do as teachers tell you, they can be boring and stuff but they know. it gets easy when you get used to it. im a freshman too =]

  6. -dividers

    -planner/agenda

    -DON'T procrastinate (trust me..lol)

i know there's more but can't think of them at the top of my head right now

  7. well make sure that you have room for everything in your locker, maybe even get a little shelf thing for your locker, and just make sure that you throw out anything that is of no use to you and just keep it neat and tidy, and as for grades , just make sure you do that work and hand it in on time

  8. seperate binders for everything.

    Hole-punch everything.

Have dividers.. each chapter gets a different section in your binder.

    Have an agenda.. use it.

Get a backpack with sections for pens and stuff... so if you forget your pencil case you have spares.

Do all homework and assignments on time.. dont put them off because in grade 9 teachers will be glad to look over rough copies and such and give you suggestions (so give yourself time to do that)

I miss grade 9.  And dont really stress too much.  College and Uni don't even look at grade 9 lol its pretty much only to improve working habits.  Good luck :)

  9. Creating a binder with each of your classes having its own divider with pockets is a good way to stay very organized.

  10. -Keep track of your homework and the due dates.

-If you have questions, feel free to ask the teacher.

    -Stay out of trouble.

-Got to class early and stay there until class is over.

-You should have a folder for each class to put your homework, and the other work.

-Keep track of your grades, GPA, and rank. (This will play an important part when you are applying for scholarships and to colleges.)

-Do your community service hr early.
