  1. People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne.  Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face.  Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne.  If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.

Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little.  Often fewer products are better.  People often make their acne much worse by using too many products.  There really is no quick fix for acne.  Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne.  Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..

There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing.  Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean.  Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that.  Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue.   Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne.  Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep.  A healthy life style will make a difference.  Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.

Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

  2. well if its temporary like from eating too muc trash food you can start by cleaning your digestive system, drinking beer is good, everytime i do it the pimples disappear pretty fast.  Just eat stuff that makes you go to the bathroom. but then agian this probabl wont work if you have had acne forever.

  3. Medicated powder like for rashes and stuff is a good secret weapon.:)) It will dry the area out so don't over do it. Try Gold Bond it worked for me back in the day. You know there is always oxy and stridex.

  4. go to a dermatologist, instead of risking making it worse.

  5. Wash your face 2 or 3 times a day to get rid of oil. Drink at least 6 glasses of water and stop eating oily foods.

  6. I found that http://ridofpimplesovernight.com help me out a lot, you'll find natural remedies to cure your acne.

  7. What kind of face makeup do you wear?Covergirl and other cheap brands make me break out and I'm 24. When I wear Estee Lauder its fine. Acne is mostly caused by hormones so washing your face and using creams doesn't usually really work. But don't sleep with your makeup on.  I use those ponds clean sweep face wipes when I don't feel like washing my face. For annoying pimples drain them gently but put something like a drying creme or calamine lotion overnight just on the spots not on your whole face.  Go to the makeup counter at the mall and ask them for products like face wash and a good facial lotion. Those are usually good ones. :)Estee Lauder in particular. You get what you pay for.

Oh I wanted to add that it is also important that your makeup brushes are clean as they can have bacteria on them that you spread on your face.

  8. believe it or not drink lots of water that helps!!!

and wash u'r fash 2x a day or more!!

    maybe try proactive!!

  9. Google search for The Acne Practice. No info is available online about the products, themselves, so I am blogging my use of The Acne Practice bootcamp moderate acne starter kit and I will answer a question fo $1 tip at www.intheglow.typepad.com. This is not a cheap way to clearer skin but, if it works, over the long-haul, it more than pays for itself. Also, if you don't have an at home glycolic peel, I suggest you invest in one.  I have light complexion black skin and I have battled breakouts for a long time.  The dark spots will fade with glycolic acid and a good skin bleacher for spot treatments.

  10. hmmm, well im 17 so i can relate but nothing i ever tried int he cream and face wash department really cleared it 100%, the thing that really helped me and is the reason i dont have acne anymore is i stopped drinking soda and eationg fast foods, i did it to be healthy, the clear skin was jus a bonus lol, but since you prob dont want to do that i cant help you but to say dont touch your face and wash it every day with warm water then cold

  11. You should use a cleanser daily-something like Cetaphil, this is good for sensitive skin. Eating healthily is a great way of preventing acne. Use something like clearasil on your acne affected areas. If it gets too bad you can see a doctor or a skin specialist, they might give you a perscription for special cream or antibiotics.

  12. differin is the best acne medication!

and clearasil is really good too!

Just remember not to scrub your face like 10 times a day, because your face will get dry, therefore making it produce more oil than needed, and causing even more acne.

    hehe ok good luck <3
