  1. Girl yuh dam right - it is insulting to other races to be called

******, golliwog, tar-baby, chinky-eye, FBI (flat bottom indian), collie, etc.

People should avoid using these words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. when ah lived in trinidad  people call meh reds ah living in the blasted states and dem say hola, mira and all that nonsence... ah just look and walk away.. like the rest of the possy say here, just ignore them they have an issue not you.....bd

  3. wha d h**l? if you calling me bhaji...you sure as h**l dont mean it "fondly".  what you mean is that you dont think im good enough for you to think of me as a person.  dam  i would be offended.

but as julien said, they arent even worth getting angry with!! unfortunately we all have to live with this BS....even in this day and age!!!  and sadly thy would think its CUTE to refer to someone like that! steupppppppppppppps.

    now i vex!

  4. suppose is ah real hot  guy ( you know the kind)  and he willing to cross the widest ocean , climb the steepest cliff . just to have his hot "bhaji"...would that make you feel better...just asking..

  5. I would try to care less about the term used and more about the context.  If people call you bhaji in a mean way, then you should be offended, but if it's a term of endearment or just a way to describe you, don't take it personally.

For example, some black people prefer to be called African Americans, and some like to be called Black, some like "dark  or brown skinned" some use less proper terms to describe themselves...  I don't want to offend anyone, but I have to pick one of those terms if I'm describing a black person.  Maybe that's just how they are describing you, not in a mean way, but just because that's the only way they know how.

  6. u are d**n right to be, im sure they wudnt like it if u "fondly" referred to them as something in particular..

i've been there and still am. i dont know when we're gonna shake of this nonsense, not only here, but in the world..

u have a right to be offended, i really wish there was some solution to discrimination like that.

i honestly think some ppl judge to quickly..

in a pic my bf has on his phone a co-worker told him "dougla, i didnt know is a beti u have"

a few weeks ago we saw the same person while at the mall, next day at works he asks him "so whey yuh pic up dat reds from boy, she real sweet!"

newsflash @$$hole, is the same "beti" arrgghhh, i hate that kinda S**t...

  7. yeah dread dat sad. still in this day and age people goin on and on with this nonsense.

You just have to be the bigger person. people like dem like  8 track cassette players -- they around but useless and too few to take notice.

But yuh have to be like dasheen leaf nowadays just let dem tings run off yuh back.

  8. Where people does come up wit some of these names, and dey tink cuz everybody else sayin it dat it ok. People doh tink before dey does talk!

  9. Lever A that's just like a man buying a woman the best cars, biggest house expensive clothes and trips around the world but at night he beats the c**p out of her.

Now think does your answer still make sense.

  10. I can't come up with no good reason nah gyul. If yuh vex yuh right because who feels it knows.
