someone hacked into my bank account and overdrew it $181. i called my bank, but they are not doing much about it because there is no evidence that it was not me who made the transaction. the transaction was debited from CRSTOR8774696271 now the 877... is the number to the company. i cannot get threw to ANYONE to talk to them about this transaction. has anyone ever heard or know of this company? it says on the automated greeting that it is "my online credit score" i've searched on the internet forever to try and find info on this company with absolutely no luck at all. also, this guy on ebay ripped me off, and i've been having someone hack into my ebay account and list items without my consent. i think it may be the same guy. i reported it to ebay already. does anybody have any info or advise for me as to what kind of action i can take? my bank is making me pay the overdraft unless i can prove it wasnt me that made the transaction. how can i bust this guy? any and all answers welcome

  1. You can write a letter (certified) to the bank and claim that money was withdrawn without your consent.

They are required to investigate it.

They have to contact the debiting party and prove that you authorized it. They can electronically trace the funds.

You can file a police report. If you took the money out and "forgot" you could be criminally liable. Check with family members and ask to see if anyone took money out.

    As for ebay

You need to contact ebay if you account has been compromised.

In the mean time don't put any more money in that account. Open a new bank account, and withdraw as much from the existing account if you think there is a security risk.

You may also want to check you computer to see if has been hacked. If you have no firewall, that is part of your problem.

You need a firewall, and anti-spyware checker with "deep level inspection."

  2. well this happened to me too. i called my bank and reported it as fraud and they took care of it and recredited me. it happened to me a couple more times after that and i called them and they took care of it. maybe u shouldve switched banks. i have bank of america.

  3. Well...  i would definetly check with the family.  make sure no one knows your bank account to get in.  This is definetly a crime.  And you hould probably go to the police and tell them everything you are suspecting.  Hope that helped. :)

  4. ebay and your bank account highly unlikely for either account but both????
