I heard that Brent Favre after training with the Vikings summer camp, may (and let us emphasize that), be playing for them this year, yet here is Greenbay offering him 20 million for the next ten years NOT to play?

Is there any truth behind the Minnosota rumor, and if there is what are the chances that the underdogs of Minnosota might stand a chance at not only making it to the superbowl AND winning for once?

FYI: I am a Vikings fan, but we have to admit the truth of things, LOL!

  1. Yes, there is a rumor that Greenbay is trying to get Favre to accept a 10 year 20 million marketing deal, that keeps him apart of the Packers but out of a uniform.

No there is no truth about favre playing for the Vikings.  Thats the main reason why the Packers do not want to release him.

  2. Don't try talking to BurressTD...the Giant fan is still crying over the 41-17 game

  3. Consider this, Brett Favre is 3-7 in his last 10 playoff games with 19 interceptions. His very last pass was a pick to and led to the greatest Super Bowl of all-time. A year ago, he was coming off a 18 TD, 18 pick season, and the year before that he threw 29 picks. Favre is going to be 39 and there's more than a likely chance that he's going to be that "old" Favre instead of the Favre of most part last season, especially as the Vikings don't have receivers as good as the Packers.

Now, let me ask you. Do you think that Brett Favre can help the Vikings win the Super Bowl?

  4. No he didnt do anything except talk to the Vikes. He is under contract to GB for 2 more years. Even retired GB owns his playing rights for 2 years. If he wants to play for the vikes they have to trade for him. Good luck with that!
