Somebody pickpocketed my wallet at the mall today!?

It was wasn't in one of the stores, i'm pretty sure it was just in the big are that leads to all the stairs, it could have been the food court, what do i do, do they have cameras in those areas? I I go to security will they go over the tapes and find out who took my wallet? (P.S. i'm not old enough for credit cards and i don't have my licence yet)
