Somebody pls help me get rid of this Norton antivirus menace...?

:((.. i dunno kab yeh load hua.. but now it is bothering me like h**l... i cnnt use the net cuz evertime i open a site i get this...

then searched and deleted it...

but it still is thr... it dsnt appear in the add or remove programs list ,,, i hv dne it all... but it still is thr ...

  2. ok dear, no need to worry that much =)

    Just download/install windows defender or any antispyware program because it seems that you have a spyware/malware in your PC... By the way what antivirus your using to protect your PC? I suggest to use avast4.8 home edition for free and use also windows defender together with it in your PC. But before you do it make sure you uninstall any antivirus to your computer because it may crash your PC. Having 2 antivirus program in your computer is very critical.

    Let me give you a tip choosing a good antivirus for your PC because i know you really do care for your pc =)

  3. Norton antivirus really ***** me off, what i would do is just try and uninstall it, or evreytime it comes up just click on the 'x'

    Tbh i don't think u can get rid of it, cos its stuck on your computer,

    you'll just have to try nd put up with it.. i got it on my laptop and i can't get rid of it either, so theres not much you can do i'm afraid

  4. I uninstalled Norton completely and replaced it with AVG and I love it.  It's awesome.

  5. All depends on how good you are with the Windows

    1. u can try to remove registry using REGEDIT (available default with windows) or use some software for the same - This requires backup / or supervision

    2. search net for removal tool - which is a .exe to remove certain elements left behind after the uninstall

    3. best option - my preferred one - FORmat the system. ask any system mechaNIC TO install NORTON GHOST  n LEARN to use it . this will be beneficial for u in the long run.

  6. Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT remove these as they are malicious codecs, although they may find reference to them and remove it but upon rebooting it's back again

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Removes Antivirus:

    Download, install, update and select Full Scan.

    Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

    Spybot S&D:

    Download, install, update and Immunize, then click 'Check for problems' then when complete select all and then 'Fix Checked'

    Spyware Doctor Free Basic Edition - Realtime monitoring:

    Its free with Google pack, untick all boxes except Spyware Doctor. Download install, update and run.

    SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition:

    Download, install, check for updates, then select Scan your Computer, select your drive and select Perform Complete Scan

    VundoFix:

    Disconnect your computer from the internet

    Run vundo

    Restart your computer

    Run the tool again to ensure no traces are left.

    If there are the reboot into Safe Mode and run FixVundo again.
