Somebody told me metro pcs cell phone provider was closing down because at&t bought them out, id this true?

no this is definitely not true. att could not purchase metro pcs because they rely on different technologies. sprint is not purchasing metro pcs either. sprint is considering trying to buy t-mobile. no one is purchasing metro pcs. metro pcs is however trying to purchase leap wireless.

I dont think Sprint is buying anyone. They have no money. They lost 1.2 million customers in just the first 3 months of 2008, which is the same amount they lost for the ENTIRE year in 2007.
