Somebody touching me with a finger.?

My beds one side is touching the wall. Every night when I go to sleep I feel afraid to sleep with my face to the wall. Because when I m facing towards the wall I feel something touching me on my back with a finger or something. It happens every time when I m not even in sleep. But as soon as I turn on to the other side I don’t feel any such thing.

I sleep alone in my bedroom from past one year after my sisters marriage. I never had such a feeling before from past 10-15 years. I m sure my house is not haunted because I never had any paranormal experience before.

Is this paranormal?? or its just my mind playing with me because I m afraid to sleep alone. I want to know if anybody has experienced such a thing or what it could be??

  1. You're more likely to notice things like this when in bed.

1.) If you're on the verge of sleep, it's not hard for the brain to confuse dream events with real events.  When you snap awake something that just happened in a dream will seem as if it just happened in real life.

2.) When you're laying in a dark room your primary sense (vision) is diminished, so your other senses (hearing and feeling especially) pick up the slack.  I think this is why it's so common to hear or feel unusual things while in bed.  It's probably also why I only seem to notice I itch in random places when I'm trying to fall asleep.

3.) You are sleeping alone and facing away from your most vulnerable spot.  It's no surprise you feel uncomfortable and anxious while in such a defenseless position.

I haven't seen or experienced what you're describing, so I can't say definitively what's happening here, but I think it's a always a good rule to weigh the natural explanations before considering the supernatural.

  2. The mind is a powerful thing. It seems to be your mind playing tricks on you.

  3. May be a nerve twitching in your back when you lay on that side. You could be developing some type of temporary condition for some reason. I've heard of that before.

  4. i think it's your nerves, cause you're afraid to sleep like that. your mind is playing tricks or you, or your brain is giving your nervous system wrong info. happens to me sometimes, too.

  5. it could be one of several things, including paranormal.  The only person that can find out what is in your bedroom at night bothering you is you.  Do you have a video camera?  Video your bed at night.  That should be easy enough since whatever this is seems to bother you as you first lie down to take rest.  If it happens again, get up and rewind the camera and see if you can see anything strange.  Do your blankets move? Do you notice anything stange that you would not think would be there?

If you do not have a video camera, if it touches you, turn over to see who or what is bothering you.  Then calmly get up and go to another room.  Tell it as you are up that you are not afraid and that when you come back into the room you want it to leave.  Be forceful and mean what you say.

    Good luck to you...

  6. Hello.

Strange feeling, but not totally exclusive.

Well, whatever happens to us is not very different from what we think will happen to us. Its actually your state of mind which is making you believe some finger is touching you.

The truth is far from it. Next time before sleeping try this out.

Align yourself in a comfortable position. Speak to yourself that tonight I will get the soundest sleep I have ever experienced, with no disturbances from anyone or anything around me.

I am feeling safe, and in company of my family. I am totally protected and unharmed.

Repeat these words over and over prior to your sleep and believe them too.

You will not find any fingers touching you then.

if it does not work on the first night, try it the net night again with more intense belief.

  7. dnt worry dont think abt it..................i felt it so many times......go to ny muslim peer baba .....................will definately help

  8. When ever some one says, the house is haunted, people straight away think that it is a bad thing or ghost..

Good or bad, the word haunted means, your house is being visited.

You could be feelings things that are not there because you are now alone and just because you have never had an experience before, does not mean you will never have one.

Do you feel any other thing, or just a finger touching you??

It could be that, (IF) its a kind spirit and it knows you are afraid to be alone, might be trying to say something.

You may be alone at night, but when ever you think of your sister, in spirit she is there with you.

  9. Try reaching around and touching them right back you never know what wonder may await you.

  10. Don't worry, that's just me doing my nightly astral projection. Nice jammies, by the way.

  11. It really doesn't matter what position you sleep in, they can touch you no matter what way you sleep. Usually they know when you wake and they 'll take off very fast. But I have seen them many times. It could be your spirit guide hinting to you that he or she is there. That's how my guide came to me by first hinting, because they know we tend to scare easy. But now my guide comes many times, I am use to it now, and look forward to her visit. she has held my hand so many times, she rubs my back, once she laid down and cuddle up to my back side and gave me a nice back rub. She hugs many times, she even allow me to put my hands on her face to feel her features. She did put all her fingers gently around my pinkie finger as I reached up thinking it was a white string falling on me, not realizing it was her. I even had a bad spirit yanking on my blanket moving my body around. I don't think to many people have experienced the things I have, perhaps they just know I am sensitive to them.

I wouldn't worry, most are very nice, it perhaps is someone you once knew, looking in on you. Perhaps from a past life.

I can't say that it was the same spirit every time, I did have another one at the foot of my bed, tapping it's finger on my big toe, I was touched on the head, I even woke to see one at the foot of my bed gently sneaking my blanket off me. In my case I found reasons for most of the cases, to why they do what they do, and who some of them are. I have communicate only mainly with one, whom I believe to be my guide...Erica.

The next time you feel it, don't turn around....just ask who it is, they will speak either at that point out loud, or a whisper. Sometimes they speak telepathy. It sounds like a spirit that you may of knew...spirits will hint slowly, it's seeking, to see your reactions, and how sensitive you are to them. It may become stronger once they know that you know that they are there.

Like I said, I was a bit scared at first, because I didn't know who it was at first....once you know, and feel the compassion, and comfort....you will look forward to it the next time.

  12. my friend has had a feeling of being held down but he was constantly searching for proof of demons and he is always on drugs but i think u need not worry it is just that ur expecting to feel it maybe u facing the wall is just making u feel as if u dont know whats behind u makin u a little on edge causing ur nerves in ur back to react witch then will tell ur muscels to contract slightly or heavily

  13. its exactly that,

i get that feeling, i was wondering that aswell,

but i came to a conclusion that the muscles or nerves in your back twitch.

your also thikning about it too much, that you might think that it happned, but it never .

just try not to think about it
