Well you see, I have read about sleep parylis and all tht, I dont if I spelt it right lol.

But when I'm drifting of to sleep, how can I keep my mind awake untill I enterREm stage. I know that it's impossible to dream when ur not in REM sleep.

Can you tell me how to do it. What position should I sleep in???

Should I wear a blind fold and ear plugs???

Will it help???

  1. Lucid Dreaming is really hard.

It doesn't really have to do with blind folds, ear plugs, or positions.  It's more of a mental awareness when it happens.

The easiest way to do this:  start keeping a journal.  Every time you wake up from sleep, start writing down what you were dreaming about or even thinking about.  The last thoughts you can possibly remember.  Every night before you go to sleep, read your last entries in your journal to refresh your memory.

You can also set your alarm for 4-5 hour after you plan on going to sleep.  This will force you wake up out of REM and write down what you were dreaming about.

It took me a long time of doing this before I actually had a lucid dream.

The whole idea behind it is to get yourself aware of what you are dreaming about, that way when you do dream you can recognize things that will remind you that you are dreaming.  The trick is not to wake up when you recognize it, that takes a few times.  But once you do, well welcome to lucid dreaming.  The world is there for your taking.
