Someone I know wants to name their baby...?

Harkley. Well she hasn't settled on the spelling yet, and whether it's a boy or a girl it will be called Harkley Angel. The different spelling she has are:

Harkley

Harkli

Harklie

Harklee.

What do you think of it? I'm not keen personally. Which spelling is best/worst? I think Harkley is best for a boy and Harkli is worst, and Harklie is best for a girl and Harkley is worst.

It isn't too bad. WAY better than DeShawn!!! Harkley is the best spelling for either a boy or a girl realy. The rest are too weird!

It's not a great name. If you NEED to use it, then use it as a middle name. Maybe Harley? Or Hayley? Or Carly?

Harkley is a gorgeous name but not with angel .

boy > harkley

girl > harklee or harkli

It doesn't matter what spelling she chooses...it's an awful name.  And no boy should have to live with the middle name of Angel.

Its an...odd name. Better than DeShawn. My friend wants to name her babyu girl Ithica when she has a child. <<<i hate the name. I think Harkley is best for a boy and Harklee is worst. For a girl Harklee=best Harkli=worst.

I don't like it all. And I don't think it really matters what the spelling is b/c it's just a bad name.

As far as the name DeShawn...I have a friend named that. He hates it and we all just call him Shawn anyway. Do the poor baby a favor and try to steer her in the direction of better names! lol

One I wouldn't put that name on any child because children can be cruel and tease him or her through school.  Two what are the parents thinking about?  Three your guess is a good one (Harkley for a boy and Harklie or Harkli for a girl).

Harkley!!!!..I said it over and over again in my mind and just don't get it.How could anyone even think it's cute to name a poor baby that..it's mean and cruel..the child will be teased ..I can hear it in the play ground now..Harkley Sparkly..Harkley Barkly...and of course it will be shortned to "Bark".please show her all the answers on here and hopefully she will see the light!!..good grief!!
