Someone Loses Alot Of Blood And Goes Into Shock.?

Lost a great deal of blood and goes into shock. they are weak, rapid pulse, falling body temperature . Explain.

it's called hypovolemia.. simply put.. insufficent blood volume to function.  

the body requires glucose, calcium, electrolytes, magnesium and oxygen to function.  the blood carries all these things.  deprived of these things the body shuts down. the brain can't maintain proper body temperature.  the pulse is rapid because the heart is trying to pump the low volume faster to compensate.  the pulse will be weak because of insufficent volume.  general weakness is due to the lack of oxygen and glucose.
