Someone STOLE My Bike!?

Question

Well are there any sugestions on how to find it... Im really Sad....is there a system that can look for it in my neiborhood. Also i no i should ask other people around see if other people saw it.

Unless you wrote down the bike's serial number, you may really be screwed. That is how you proove it's yours. Just like with cars, even if the serial or vin is shaved off, there is a chemical that would reveal it. Bikes are hard enough to trace, but it makes it atleast a little easier for police if you know the serial number. Some police forces even have a bike registry incase a bike gets stolen which requires that you give the bike's serial number, make, model, your name, address, phone number, the usual stuff. Bike theft is a common crime.

my bike got stolen but i found it it was almost impossible to recognize the person spraypainted it and changed the seat the only reason i recognized it was because the serial number if you dont have that your screwed i would just keep looking

thou should have attached yarn to it.

then the problem would be a simple matter of following said yarn to the location of your bicycle. the matter is elementary. had thou heeded mine advice earlier the mystery could literally have unraveled. but alas, thou art a woman.

You can look for it, but I doubt it would do any good because the person who took it probably painted it already and it would be near impossible to recognize.

I have to say it's very hard to get any bike back if it's been stolen. Idk about the person having stolen it and repainting it that soon but I do know that mr. shakespeare up there isn't very a very nice guy.

try calling the police, and tell neighbors to watch for it. My dad's friend did once have his stolen and then when he saw the guy riding it around he waited and stole it back! So good luck!
