someone asked what a kcal is and someone answered this..

Kcal = Calorie

it's just like the unit you see on a food lable.

calorie = the energy required to increase ONE GRAM of water one degree Celsius.

Calorie = energy required to raise ONE KILOGRAM of water one degree Celsius.

i dont understand what it means now because of the end of it, can someone please explain

and if u asked it or answered it lol soz bout this. x

  1. you got it right  technically it's  measured in Kcals ur body needs 2000kcals avg diet but we just say calories consider it the same thing a kcal is 1000cals our body really needs 2,000,000cals a day or 2000kcals if  u wanna be technical but food i smeasured by the kcal  so yea 100kcal=100cal foodwise


  2. Kcal means 1 calorie= 250kcal means 250 calories.
