  1. who doesnt know how to play monopoly?  do u want me to teach you how to dial 911 too

  2. i play monopoly some times with my brothers set that i got him for xmas, the new zealand edition cos we come from that country, i still have no idea how to play it propaly. all i do is choose a token, then we roll the dice to see hu gets the highest number. the one with the highest number goes first. the roll the dice again and move that number of spaces and read what the space says. if its a chance or a that other card hing i pick the card and dous what it says. if i land on a house i think "do i want this house?" if i do i put a house token on it. if i dont i leave it. and so on.

  3. I'll try but the instructions are pretty simple.

The idea of Monopoly is to control all the properties on the board and have no other players with any other money. First the Banker (who is in charge of the money) hands out $1500 to each player. 2 $500, 2 $100, 3 $50, 6$20, 5 $10, 5 $5 and 5 $1 bills go to each player.

Then roll the dice to decide who goes first.

The first player rolls - the two six sided dice. They move the number of squares indicated. The square they land on will either have instructions on it (like income tax), be a property or Chance/Community Chest. If its a property they can pay the amount listed there to the bank and purchase the property. If someone else lands on that property in the future they have to pay that person the rant indicated on the property card. For Chance/Community chest draw one of the appropriate cards and follow instructions.

If it's doubles that player rolls again. If not continue onto the next player.

Game play continues like this for a while. When you pass GO you collect $200. When you own a set (2 or 3 properties beside each other of the same colour) your rent doubles and you can start buying houses. House prices are listed on the property cards. Each house raises the amount of rent you are paid. You need to build evenly - in that you can't have 3 houses on 1 and 1 house on the others of your set.

Once you have 4 houses on each you can buy hotels which is the largest houses in the game - you can not build houses on top of hotels.

    Hope this helps!

  4. What that dude just said. (God! jesus that was a long answer.)

  5. make sure you buy Park Place first

  6. Ok... Once you get the hang of the game it's pretty easy... I've been playing Monopoly ever since I can remember...

    Anyway...

    1. Each player gets 1500$ (Two- $500, Two- $100, Two- $50, Six- $20, FIVE- $10, FIVE- $5, FIVE- $1)

    2. Then you place the Community Chest Cards on the Board (where it states COMMUNITY CHEST)

    3. Do the same with the Chance Cards

    4. Then each player rolls one DIE and whomever has the highest number goes first.

    5. The player with the highest number rolls the DICE (BOTH) and moves their piece the number of spaces that they rolled.

HINT: If you get doubles= Roll again, IF YOU GET DOUBLES 3 TIMES IN A ROW= Imidiate Jail!!!

    6. Normally you don't buy property until your second go around the board. So, after your piece gets around the board once you can start to buy property.

    7. If you land on a Space that states Income Tax- Pay 10% or $200, or Luxury Tax- Pay $75 you have to do what it says.

    8. If you want to buy the property that you land on (CHECK IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FIRST!!!!!) Then buy the property (you get a property card) and the only way you can place HOUSES or HOTELS on your property spaces you have to have all the colors of that one that you want to place the house/hotel on.

EXAMPLE: I have one Yellow Property card (Ventor Avenue) but not the other two (Marvin Gardens, and Atlantic) that means I can't buy a house/hotel to put on my property. Same goes if you only have two of the colors.

    9. If another player lands on your property, they owe you RENT!!! (CASH CASH CASH) SO if I own Pennsylvania Avenue, and Another player lands on it, (Assuming that I don't have any houses/hotels on it) The player that landed on Pennsylvania Ave. owes me $28.

    10. If I have a house on Pennsylvania Ave. (1 HOUSE= $150, 2 HOUSES= $450, 3 HOUSES= $1000, 4 HOUSES= $1200) Its good for you but bad for the other player. (Its the same if you land on your opponets property)

    11. If I have a hotel on Pennsylvania Ave. my opponet owes me $1400. (ALL OF THE RENT THINGS ARE LISTED ON THE CARDS)

    12. If you pass go you get $100

    13. If you land on go you get $500

    14. ALL Income Tax/ Luxury Taxes go into the center of the board. If you land on Free Parking  you get ALL the money piled in the middle  of the board. If there is no money the banker MUST put $500 to start off the Free Parking Winnings.

    15. You can play how ever long you want but when you decide to end the game, the person with the MOST money wins.

    16. Oh. If a player lands on one of the 4 Railroads they can buy them (NOT ON THEIR FIRST TIME AROUND THE BOARD) you CANNOT put houses on the Railroads, but the more you own the more RENT it costs for your opponet to pay you.

All in all, I hope these easy dirrections help you in your quest to conquer Monopoly. LOL

    Those who win feel accomplished : )  : )  : )  : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : )
