Don't BASH ME! Just answer these questions truthfully because I don't understand what went on

1. Why did JR pass the pace car with no penalties or warnings?

2. Why did NASCAR tell Vickers not to pass the 8 car?

3. Why did they throw the caution on the last lap, even though the two cars that spun had gotten out of the way and no one else was in danger of wrecking?

4. Did anyone read the article about Nascar having a talk with the drivers about how important the fans were? Could NASCAR possibly have set something up here, since JR is the most popular driver?

And don't call me a hater just answer these questions because I would like some insight. Only cool-headed people answer and don't call me any names or I will report. If you have an answer to those questions, answer it, but don't bash for no reason.

  1. 1. Nascar warned Jr and he stopped. They warn everyone before they black flag them.

    2. I didn't hear they told Vickers that, but regardless he wasn't going to get around the leaders.

    3. They threw the caution because there were cars behind the spinning cars that could have got involved.

    4. I read the article, but there is no possible way they could have planned the outcome of the race. Jr. was way too close on fuel to plan that. No matter what they do, they aren't going to get any drivers to wreck on purpose, it's like those Coke commercials they play during the race.

  2. 1.  He was speeding up to try and coast as far as he could to conserve fuel.  He was issued a waring by NA$CAR and he stopped doing it.

    2.  Cant pass under caution, warnings are issued prior to a black flag.

    3.  The same reason they threw it with 2 laps to go, drivers safety.  I conflict with this one a lot.

    4.  Yep I read it and nope.  If NA$CAR were to set something like that up, Jr would be winning every other race and wouldnt have had such a long winless streak and he'd already have a couple of cup titles.  NA$CAR drivers are very competitive, no one is going to lay down for anyone else.  Plus, wouldnt you think something like that would have leaked out one way or another??  Look at the law suit against them, they didnt wanna reveal the names of the two officials that were suspended, but it got out anyway.

  3. 1 he warned..but also his car was turned of and coasting

    2.  you cant pass under caution and the #8 was almost out of gas and ran out right after they went back to green

3 saftey in case one of thecars suddenly came flying back acroos the track

4/ many was complaing about bad tracks and the COT

Helton was saying they are paying a lot of money not only to watch you race .but getting to the race especialy with gas being ove $4 a gallon and some even taking a few days off work

  4. 1. He passed the pace car when the car was coasting and not turned on and fell back behind it when told which is all they can do as there is no actual rule against that.

    2. you cannot advance your position under caution when the 8 ran out of fuel he had to be given the chance to make it around the track before they could let Brian take the spot.

    3. The caution was thrown because of the spin and the possibility that there was debris on the track from the contact.

    4. If Nascar wanted Jr to win would it have taken 76 races??

  5. 1. You are not allowed to pass under caution.  That goes for the pace car too.  You are given a warning and told to get back to your proper place in line.

    2.  You cant pass under caution.

    3.  Cautions flags come out unexpectedly.  You have to make a quick decision on throwing the flag or not.  You don't have time to see how it turns out because by then it could be too late and more cars could become involved unnecessarily.  There were other cars around them when they wrecked.

    4.  NASCAR isn't faked.  It would be too much work to run 200 laps with 43 cars and make sure that everybody broke down, pitted, and didn't make any mistakes.  Can you imagine trying to rememeber your script at 200 mph for 200 laps?

  6. if your trying to say that NASCAR helped Junior win, then they wouldn't have had that last caution, knowing Junior was losing positions on re-starts and that he was also running out of fuel. I hope the facts being pointed out to you doesn't make you realize that your just being paranoid. May I wish you a nice evening and wish you well in your mental stability. Thank you for letting me answer your question, and goodnight.

  7. 1. there was a warning issued to Jr.

    2. no idea, was it under caution?

    3. the cars were not out of the way, one came back across the race track

    4. No, the meeting was to tell drivers to stop complaining about the COT, and just drive

  8. 1. He didn't pass the pace car, he put the pace car behind him :)

    2. NASCAR didn't tell Vickers not to pass the 8, they told the 8 to not let Vickers in front of him :)

    3. They didn't throw the caution on the last lap for the wreck, they didn't keep the green flag in the air because of the lack of cars heading the right direction :)

    4. NASCAR didn't say for the drivers to be good to the fans, they told the drivers to not be mean to the fans :)

  9. You are dealing with a long-time Earnhardt fan here but I won't bash you.

    1.  He did get a warning and was just having difficulty going slower because of the huge difference in the lines they ran on the track.  Jr was on the apron, the pace car mid to high line on the track.

    2.  Because they are sometimes wrong but would never overturn a decision.

    3.  The caution flag has been thrown in similiar situations many times and it is in the rules.   Are you sure there was no debris?  How would you feel if the caution flag didn't get thrown and your fave wrecked?

    4. Sorry, but please dismiss theories on conspiracy already.  They cannot be proven.  A lot of very similiar accusations flew around when Gordon was sittin' pretty at the top and they are all just hogwash too.

You seem like an intelligent enough guy, think about it.  Just because they are HMS, they do not recieve any special consideration just because of who they are or what team they race for.   All anybody talks about is special treatment for Jr etc....

Would he have lost 76 in a row(less that no point event to kick off the year!!) if he were recieving special treatment?  I honestly think DEI held him back, not physically but emotionally.  It must have been h**l on him to have to fight for what he got.  Imagine your father's blood, sweat and tears founding a mega-million dollar all to have your step-mother make you beg, borrow and steal just to get your share.  Blood relatives suffer while somebody associated by marriage only gets the bigger percentage?  I can only imagine what he went through.  I know one thing though, that had to have made Dale a pretzel in his grave.  I am sure that he always assumed that Theresa would have his families' best interests be a top priority.  He was at least partly wrong.

  10. NASCAR + Rigged = Jr.'s cheating win it's simply math.

  11. You've been given many good answers,

if you don't like them ....

    oh well.......

"Could NASCAR possibly have set something up here, since JR is the most popular driver?"

sounds like YOUR the one doing the "bashing"?

  12. 1.  He was warned after about the 3rd pass.  He was shutting off his engine to conserve fuel.  He would refire the engine, gun it, and then shut it off and coast on the momentum.  He was told not to pass the pace car.

    2.  You are not allowed to advance your position on the rece track during caution.

    3.  The caution flew because of debris brought on by the wreck.

    4.  No, NASCAR is not set up...

I picked Junior in my weekly pool at work, so I am thrilled he won!
