Someone explain why Dunkin' Donuts discontinued Vanilla Bean Coolatta?

Alot of people liked it. In my area, they were probably the most popular coolatta flavor. I tried researching this on the internet, but found no answers. It seems that alot of people liked it, so why would they discontinue it?

Iced coffee is good enough for me though, unless they discontinue caramel swirl. I like the original coffee flavor but discontinuing caramel swirl would be enough for me to completely lose my respect in DD.

Like most profit oriented businesses the decision was most likely profit (lack thereof) motivated.

DD found they could generate more revenue from the same number of dispensers by seasonally varying the menu.
