Someone from UK keeps buggin me for to send him a email ..?

Question

I have this guy that I chat with saying he is from UK .. saying he is moving back to the US soon ..he is very nice .. but keeps asking me to send him a email every few mins .. I'm kinda supecious about that . Is there some way someone can tap into my computer through a email ?

Anybody can tap into your computer with the right knowledge, software, and equipment.  he can get and follow your IP address.  If you're feeling suspicious about this guy, just block him, and his chats.  

I've always heard - "follow your gut instincts", I suggest you do the same.

p.s.  There are lots of nice people on the Internet.  However one really doesn't know the other very well.  So there can also be lots of nice people on the Internet, who are also con artists.

Actually, I think they can get an IP Address from it.  I could be wrong.

This is what I do know about computer security:

Viruses take over your computer when someone you don't know sends you an E Mail.

NEVER ever update information such as credit, bank, name, account or anything through an E Mail.  Even if it proports to be from a specific agency, chances are that the E Mail address is spoofed.  The disguise it to look like the legitimate page of something, say a bank and then will tell you something like your account coudl expire if you don't update your information.  The person thinks it's real and by the time they send it off, the phoneys are gone.

It is also important never to click on a link in an E Mail unless you recognise the person who sent it to you.    

Never can be too careful.

You cannot send him a email but you can send him an email. Maybe he is bugging you because he wants you to learn better english!
