Someone from accra ghana offers a deal about a deposited money in a security company, is this legal?

I received a mail through friendster.com from someone in ghana asking for a confidential help about a deposited treasure in a security company. Before the death of the depositor, he ( depositor ) gave him the documents stating there that he ( sender of this mail ) was the first who can claim the treasure but it should be done with a partner abroad as stated in the contract agreement. He does not have any contact abroad so he tried to contact me and offered me a 20% share of the total value of these treasure. Now he is asking me to send him money for the processing of documents
