Someone good with car stereos?

i have a 98 hundai sonta with an after market cd player but its junk. so will a stock tape player from a 98 mustang fit into it??

lol i want to the tape player cuz then i can play my i pod with the cord thingie.. does anyone know??

  1. If you have an aftermarket radio, take it out and get a Kenwood 138 radio.  Radio can be had from a shop for 70 cash, and it has a head phone jack in the front face for your ipod.  Get a headphone to headphone jack from 99 cent store. Just 99 cents.

    total would be like 75 for everything goodd luck


  2. You can make any stereo fit any car. Ya usually will have to do some "modifying". But all Mustang radios have a boo coo amount of wires and added factory installed components to them. i.e. amps etc. You could use a wiring harness but you'd be missing out on the factory amps, cross overs and security systems that Ford packs into a factory stereo.

  3. ya man i have had 3 differnt cars and they all had the same stero i had to make some changes to the stock wires but im only 14  and if i can do it im sure you can ok good luck
