  1. report him online if you can

  2. ask him what your IP is.  He should know it if what he says is true.  To check what your IP is in XP, click start > run > type cmd

in the comand prompt type ipconfig and this will show your ip

  3. This guy that I was talking to in a chat room told me he was a girl.  That didn't make him a girl.

Download COMODO firewall.  It notifies you any time an outside computer attempts a connection.

No offense but someone telling you that they hacked your

computer isn't the same thing as actually hacking  your computer.

If you were really hacked you would know it. Is there anything missing anything moved around or is everything the same?

  5. it's likely that real hacker do not tell you when they hack your computer... he/she just claimed to have done so... but have you any clue of it?

  6. He didn't.  I just said he did.

  7. He definitely did. Hackers usually hack your computer when you are asleep. Before you go to bed, unplug all the cables leading into your computer. And then turn your monitor around so the hackers can't hack your screen. Also, remove all the programs on your computer too.

  8. best thing to do is call your internet provider to come down to your house and give it a check. he might be even playin around. its the internet. there sickos out there who just loves to scare ppl and worry them

  9. Here's your sign.

  10. If you are concerned about the security of your computer, the best option is ...

    Don't run MS Windows.

Use HP-UX, Solaris, BSD, Mac OS X, or a reputable Linux, such as SuSE.

Second option, learn how to install, set up and maintain a firewall, security tools to check for trojans, rootkits and so on, and to use penetration testing software such as Nessus.

Third option is, if this is too complex, you will have to pay an independant security consultant.

  11. Most likely he was bluffing you.If you were not kicked then i would not worry about it.Keep your anti virus and firewall up to date.

  12. Actually he didn't really did it.....

Any observation you have in your computer after he said that?

If you have..I'll wait to your reply..
