Someone has been sending me nasty smss. what do i do.

this has been going on sometime now. its about office things. there are blank calls at odd hours too. yesterday the idiot called and spoke and i could recognise the voice. i checked with the mobile service with the pretext of some confusion in bills and they confirmed the name. Now i know who the person is. he is a looser basically but there's no knowing how far these things can go. a complaint has been registered with the police by the office. they are not doing anything. more important things in hand i guess. but what should i do to protect myself. I am a bit scared

Don't pick up the phone,these fools are in this world.

Talk to your cel phone company, they should be able to block his access to your phone.  Explain that you have spoken to the police (you did do that in addition to whatever the office did, right?)

Well if it were me, I'd report it to my cell phone place there, and keep documination on everything.. and nope the cops won't do anything unless theres no body or blood. sadly enuff to say. but keep record of all of it, it would help later on.. best of luck..

change your number as well if its scaring you that much!

you can contact the customer care and they will give u guide lines

for you problems.or u can give that number to your close friends

and ask them to call

That kind of harassment can be a crime. A restraining order is a possibility.

Report it to the police. And make sure to ask that a specific officer is assigned to the matter, since it may take a while and several instances for this to be resolved. You don't want to have to start the story from scratch with a different police officer each time.

if u are a girl try to give ur phone to ur friend to answer it when the bad call is coming.other thing is tell them that u are going to complaing the police.
