my daughter has had £400 took out of her bank account and been spent in England and India. She obviously doesnt know who it is or how it was done. However the bank have said that first of all they will investigate and it will take 6 wks. She is with the Abbey but I have been told that other banks dont take so long. Why does it take so long.

  1. I think the bank tell the fraud squad. And they look at CCTV to catch the crooks. If someone has committed fraud on your card, the bank will pay you because its flaws on their system. NOT YOUR FAULT!

  2. Because it wanna be sure you're not cheating; moreover, it has to investigate what it's exposed to, for example a bug in its system, since it's important it gets to the bottom of the problem. The bank will pay you back, don't worry..bye

  3. this happened to me couple weeks ago, my bank, bankofamerica, put all the funds back and are "investigating"

  4. ask my friend Paul because it happenned to him and im not sure how long or what the end result was

  5. yes it will ,but you need to report it to the police.

  6. This happened to me a few weeks ago with Barclays bank, someone took £200 out of my account using an ATM in Greece but i still had the card in my pocket, the bank gave me a new card and replaced the money all within 2 weeks.
