Someone help with this.. what does it mean? its reoccurring?

I keep having these crazy dreams where most of it has to do with nonsense things but one part keeps reoccuring. Im always looking for something (i dont know what it is) and then my ex boyfriend shows up (he used to abuse me) and i run. i dont know whether im running from him or to him. But like in the first one i was very tired and he turned to me and said "you look very tired. you need to sleep. shhh. go to sleep." and then in the second one he said "shh. its okay. come here. i won't hurt you. you look tired. you need to sleep."

i don't understand. someone please tell me what this means?

this has been happening for a few nights now.. i do't know what triggered it. someone please help me. what does it mean??

im not saying this is what it means, im just saying what i think it means:

maybe you finally realize your ex was bad, and now you forgive him(although i never would). you want to start again, but not a relationship. just a friend kinda way. you want to find trust in him, and you want him to find trust in you.

When sorrow or heartaches come, we cry ourselves to sleep.Do you suffer from depression or tiredness  during your waking hours? Are you longing for/missing this ex-boyfriend in spite of his abuse?This ex- boyfriend sounds like a love that does not need to be awakened. You are tired of being a victim. Find a  hotline for abused person and then join a group so that you can talk with others who were in  similar situations and have escaped from it. Once you get the problems out of your system through counseling and a good support group, they most likely will vanish or at least RIP.

what think is that you loved him and your body/mind thinks that he is good and i think the thing you are looking for is the love you gave to him and that it is somewhere you cant find .dont wake from the end . keep going because if im right you are rejecting the ex part of boyfriend . he betrayed you by hurting you and your hearts dosnt know that

It sounds like you trusted him. You're looking for your trust and he had it so you see him in your dream. He sounds like he cares for you (probably did) but you know he can't be trusted so prior to that you are running (probably away.)

Why would you trust anybody right now?
