  1. DebbieD is correct; Dagenham market has moved along the A13. Closer to the city, Petticoat Lane is a more famous one, near Aldgate East station.

  2. there is one down Chequers lane in Dagenham.  enjoy

  3. There's a great market a bit further on from East London. Dagenham sunday market ion the A13 is brilliant.  Anything you want you can probably get there and it's huge!! It's my favourite place to be on a sunday morning apart from in bed that is!!!

  4. firstly the market in chequers lane isn't there any more its down river road barking, and try petticoats lane around aldgate and just around the corner is the famous beigel shop(bagels that is )

  5. They have a regular public auction (out the back of a truck)

of good quality electrical goods at well below half price, in sclater street brick lane, every sunday, normally starts around 6.30am / 7.00am.

You will see hoardes of people crowding around, just get up the front and get a deal.

Be careful not to buy any of  the second hand c**p what the thousands of stall holders are selling, they are probably faulty.  Good luck.

  6. though they are very close to the city  , Brick Lane, Petticoat Lane, Spitalfields and Commercial Road street markets are in East London and very good markets.

Columbia Road for flowers, whilst new designer clothing, arts, electronics and eccentricities at Brick Lane,  and Petticoat Lane at very cheap prices . Otherwise a cornucopia of curiosities at the others ... though all within walking distance of one another, don't think you could do all in one Sunday, but you can try...
