its far enough away alright but there are buses going from the city centre to Loughlinstown-check the Dublin Bus timetables

Sorry no where near , its  nearer to co wicklow than city centre. Bus and dart to D2.

Take the bus, 7, 45, 84. Depending on the time of day it will take about 40 to 50 minutes to get from D2 to Loughlinstown.

Ask the bus driver to tell you where to get off, if you know the name of the building, office etc that your going to. Loughlinstown is not small but it's not big either. So ask the driver to tell you when you come close to the building you are going to. Most drivers will tell you.
