Try one of the mildly abrasive cleansers (Comet, Ajax) first.  If that won't do it use a pumice stone followed by bleaching with Barkeeper's Friend.

im assuming you meant that the cigarrette left a yellow burnt stain on the sink.

try bleach and a scrubbing pad, that should fix it.

That's a question asked 'round the world. Haven't you seen those stains in other people's houses? That's because they Don't come off. Another reason to quit!
