Question:

Someone outside our home, anyone know why this is? Someone playing a prank or my imagination?

This has happened three times.

There is a window in my room. Once at 3. am, I felt like I saw some guy looking inside and when I looked he left. And I've twice felt like someone was running by the window. (this happened at night)

My brother also this summer has a few time thought he heard someone outside at night.

Anyone have any idea what this might be? Imagination, some guy or just just a cat or something?

  1. Run a length of string or fish line around the perimeter of your house, connect the ends to a bell or any device to make noise. Or get one of those electric eye monitor device that buzz when someone is in your driveway.

  2. Depends, what are you doing up at 3 a.m.? All the accusations are based on your 'thoughts' and 'feelings' . No hard proof, try sleeping. The longer you Stay up, the more people are watching....feel me?

Or consider this: Are you that fuking intersting that someone wants to watch you? Put crushed up aluminum cans as a trap, like homie said, and you will hear em. HEY>>>> Maybe it's your brother ***** with you eh? " Yeah Bro, I seen him too!"  Set a trap, or go to sleep. THATS MY FINAL ANSWER :)      x X siLLy wHiTe GiRL Xx

  3. Have u ever seen the movie STRANGERS i suggest u tell your parents as soon as possible b/c this is not funny even if it was prank whoever pulling it should be punished...get off of Y!A already and tell a grown up

  4. How I am supposed to know? I'm not there. You can always check and see. If you don't feel safe, carry a stick, or the gun you use for protection  or something.

  5. Sure dude, I really saw a suspicious person lurking around your house *sarcasm*

  6. It MIGHT be anything.  As others have pointed out, there's no way for us to know.  Guessing is a waste of time.

When in doubt, be safe.  Keep that window closed and locked.  Discourage peeping Toms or potential burgulars by installing outdoor light, trimming hedges, and etc., so that the area outside your window is not a good place for people to lurk.  Set up a webcam or other device to monitor movement outside your window. It can be as simple and cheap as one of those Halloween toys with a motion sensor.  Some may even be on sale now.

    Good luck.
