Someone paid me with a 100 dollar counterfeit bill at my job!how can i tell when a $100 bill is real?

i just started my new job and the manager said that they printed over a 5 dollar bill and made it a hundred dollar bill that it was a fake! i used the marker and since its made on real money paper it didn't show as fake. how can i tell next time!

Will they let you call a manager if someone offers a $100 bill?  Can you decline to accept a large bill?

This is really something they should help you with.

Well you're supposed to check... As far as I know the last person that ends up with the bill gets the loss.

This will probably be tedious, and hopefully you have 20/20 vision.

If you look on Ben's collar you'll see there is  clear, but very small writing on it. No one can fake that. Its the best way to know for sure.
