The dog hadn't been treated with the pesticide in weeks, but I realize that the stuff actually gets into their bodies and grows out /with/ their fur, so anytime you touch the animal you have contact with the poison.

Is it possible small amounts of the pesticide got onto my keyboard? I took a wet washcloth and wiped it and my mouse off, but I still feel apprehensive about using it. Would it be better for me to just buy a new keyboard and mouse?

Could the amounts of the pesticide (Frontline) on my keyboard, if they're there at all, and if they get into my body (ie. if I touched the keyboard then my hand contacted my face) be enough to cause ANY damage to my body at all..? Even like just a hundred brain cells?

  1. are you a hypochondriac? frontline is applied by hand no need for a glove as long as you wash your hands off afterwards. you will not get any physical damage to your body from it so relax and ease up

  2. Way too worried about it dude.

People don't treat their animals then never touch them again for fear of exposure.  Think about it, the dog weighs less than you do, and it's just fine having a whole mess of frontline run down it's body.

As long as you're not l*****g a still-wet drop of frontline you're fine.  And even then I wouldn't worry about getting a drop or two in my mouth.

  3. idk wat u mean but 2 disinfect ur keyboard get memorex air duster or sumthing like that. i wud buy a new keyboard and mouse thou u never kno
