  1. OMG.....i totally am obsessed with these books. Just read the last one. U will like it. Honestly there is no such things as vampires so just calm down. Some day u will find someone so stop basing all your relationships on a fictional character.

  2. Dude, I think alot of people get these obsessions with vampire novels. The same thing happened with anne rices', Vampire Chronicles, It was reasoning's why she said her only regret was that she ever used the word "Vampire" in it.. It has to do with the whimsical romance, the mystery, and the beauty people think they see in it.. My advice to you, especially when people start getting an obsession as you are, is to try with all your might to forget it, DONT read the new one, it will only add to you obsession... Theres nothing wrong with you, its been seen alot, the fact that you can admit to it is a great thing, I see all these little girls going around as you, and it sickens me,but unlike you they cant admit to there fault..... Id like to see them come across a real vampire and feel In such away, Its nothing like it is in the books, and it disgusts me, but the fact that you realize your obsessing ways is your first step, and is very good!!!  We all wish we could be something were not sometimes, and these vampire novels give us a fantastical view of things that makes us yearn for that to be reality, just as anyone who finds such beauty and romance in things, its an escape, but ITS NOT REALITY!! You just need to keep reminding yourself of that, and bring your self back to reality, and forget it. Find a new book, other wise your end up like these cooks(like cookey people not cook like food lol) who get so obsessed with it, and the idea of vampirism that they live in a false reality pretending they are one,. Ya know.. Good luck! Stay strong!

  3. trust me i know what it's like because me and my cousin are both completely obsessed. lol!  but the fourth one is really good. its different from the first three but its still really good and stephenie meyer is talking about doing two more books from two other peoples perspective. and dont forget midnight sun!!!

    p.s. edward is mine!!! lol!

  4. my advice: stop reading those dumb  books, edward is not going to pop out. go to a book store and get a good book worth reading.

  5. thats exactly why every girl likes twilight. they in a way fall in love with edward and wish that they could live a life like that, troubles and all. you just have to remember that a majority of real men arent perfect like edward. you need to get back into your life

  6. breaking dawn is good, read it, theres nothing that will let you down.. except one thing, which you will learn to accept when you finish the book.

I have dreams that edward just comes into my house and kidnaps me.

i have the same dreams with jacob but those ones are nighmares :p

  7. Unfortunately I found Breaking Dawn to be somewhat of a disappointment. But at least there's another book to look forward to in the series..well sort of. Stephanie Meyer is writing Twilight from the point of veiw of Edward.

  8. haha. DEFINITELY read the fourth book! it will kind of help your obsession. trust me. ive been in ur shoes. :) felt like that after eclipse. then i rad breaking dawn and my hole was sewn back up. i love edward and right now i am tryna figure out how to get him as my icon/avatar. lol. yeah. people who know me always know that i am a twihard fan.

ps: EDWARD IS MINE PEOPLE. SO BACK OFF. ALL MINE. IN OTHER WORDS: EDWARD CULLEN +ME= ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

    SO BACK OFF!!!!!!

    :)

  9. Just trust the author and go ahead and read her fourth vampire book.

Failing that, read her "adult" novel, "Host." Then see how you feel. I bet you will conclude you can trust the author and will finish the vamp series.

    Have fun.

  10. LOL, You need to read the last book. Be careful because people might post spoilers on here just  to be jerks. Good Luck

  11. I know EXCATLY what your going through. With breaking dawn, i told myself i would read a page a day so that it would last for ages. I couldnt stop reading and finished it in one go. Now when Breaking dawn finished i leterally felt like someone in my family had died! I cried for an hour straight after finishing the book and for the days afterwards i walked round like a zombie. Even my mum noticed and she said to me, 'What are you gonna be like when you meet a REAL man?'

But what she doesnt understand is the fact that no man could ever live up to Edward! But this his how i have controlled my obsession and sadness and it really works:

I started writing. I wrote a story about my perfect man, ( i admit i was inspired after a Edward dream ) and that seriously helped because you could create and write anything you want and it makes you fall in love all over again, but most important, it takes your mind off edward!!!

Then i started reading other books. And i mean loads. Ive read 10 books so far, and they really occupy your mind and show you other people. Also watch inspirational films and do things that you love!!

    I hope this helps

    Alison

    !!!!!!!!!

    Twighlight for ever!

  14. read the next book and then re-read them all. You'll get over it in time girl!  if not your family just might have you committed.

  15. If you want rid of your obsession then quit stalling and read Breaking Dawn!

It'll get rid of your obsession quick as a flash and you'll HATE the books from then on.

  16. I suggest searching other interests. I love anime and manga. But I also search for stuff that intrigues my other interests. Other stuff Like music. I search for many albums that i love like the classics or Indie music.

To clarify what i said earlier: Search other interests so you won't be hooked and obsessed with one Interest.

  17. Read Breaking Dawn--it is definitely worth it.  A lot of people hated it and were disappointed, but I thought it was wonderful.

When you are done, dive into some other books.  Might I suggest reading the books and plays that Stephenie Meyer references in the Twilight Saga?

    ~Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare)

    ~Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte)

    ~Empire (Orson Scott Card)

    ~A Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare)

    ~The Merchant of Venice (Shakespeare)

    ~Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen)

Keep reading other books.  Let yourself identify with those characters and eventually it will cure you of your Twilight-itis.
