Someone please tell me: Is the weather in Cancun enjoyable rightnow???

I already looked at the weather channel, and it says scatter showers t-storms now and next week and were going there next week! Is it still nice to be there or is it miserable? is it REALLY raining that much down there? ANY sun at all? PLEASE TELL ME!!!

Yes you will need sunblock. Don't worry about the weather. I have been in Mexico where it rained nearly every day ..... for a whole five minutes!

YES, you will still need sunblock! You get the most sun sometimes when it is overcast. Cancun is really hot this time of the year, I would go in Sept/Oct or March/April. There is always rain in the tropics and April - July is the "rainy" season in that central america "region". If you are on the Caribbean Sea coast during the rainy season then it can rain everyday, all day. Sometimes you can get lucky and it just rains part of the day and if you are really lucky it may not rain at all. The likelihood is that it will rain, after all it is the rainy season. Inland however it is a different story and although it may rain almost everyday it tends to rain at the same time of the day for a short period. In June and July this can actually be a refreshing experience that enhances your expedition.

April - July

Remember to pack light clothing, it dries faster and the summer is extremely hot!!!!
