  1. The Importance of Moral Education

Too frequently, in today's world, Moral Education is severely lacking, and so, when kids shoot each other, or stab each other, or, in some other way mess up, everybody wants to blame the parents; you know, the ones who are no longer allowed to spank their kids when they misbehave, or, the parents, being at work, have no time to teach those same children how to be Moral Beings, instead of worrying about being Politically Correct.  The number one source of laws in our country is the Bible... Always has been, and still is, but, now, the government, and minorities are trying to take that away from us, and then people want to know why we're going to Hades in a handbasket.

And there ya go... a short, extemperaneous speech for ya.

  2. Teenagers have the mind of an adult but the lack of control to judge certain situations and react upon them in the likely manner. In layman's terms, there is much influence in the life of the average teenager. Pressures to fit in, to excel in school, to be a role model to younger siblings, to please a boyfriend or girlfriend and to strengthen other relationships. Thus, the ability to make the correct decision is sometimes deemed impossiible, with so many factors to keep in mind. Not to mention all the desensitization of today's world, with the gore of video games and the blatant s*x present on movies and advertisements, it's tough to remember that what used to be wrong is now being presented in such a pleasing way as to appeal to the senses. Thus a sound moral education is important to remind us of what truly counts in life.

  3. Here's a web site that might help you.  It explains basically several people's theories about moral education.

As far as your speech goes, here's what to do:

    -read the web site.

-pick three things that strike you as important and related to each other and your title topic.

-Those three ideas become the thesis of your speech and the I II and III part of the outline for your talk.

-Fill in those three references with your own ideas about them and you have a speech.

  4. If it were I, MSN Encarta.com, dictionary, look up moral....

break it down, write it down - - all of it...

then education. same thing........ take it in small segments.

Start writing, not using moral first or edu. first - - intertwine it together....think of it as you are listening to someone else doing it.  Make a sort of story of it, but the meaning being the

    topic.

Settle down, the anxiety part, now condense it on a cheat sheet, however it fits you, that you can memorize,  ad lib in parts that apply, end with a T.Y. for listening and I hope you can agree with such an important topic!!  It will work, like they say- - - - when all else fails wing it, you'll still get a grade....

  5. Well apparently moral education has very little importance in today's schools, because they teach far more imoral stuff than moral. The importance of imoral education would be easier and probably get you a better grade.
