Someone posted to my group AS IF it came from me and I did not write it. How can that happen?

Someone posted a message to one of my groups stating that the group was closing in 3 days and inviting members to join another group. I did not write the message. How could someone have access to post a message as if it came from me?

if it came as a post and it was your exact ID, go change your password if it was made from your account- locate the member and remove them. sometimes a person will create a near exact ID as another's, copy and paste that ID into the members list and locate them, remove them.

go check your calendar settings (management- under group settings web tools- web tools (edit) <-- click the edit- make sure it is checked to moderators

many times a spammer will add a reminder

you may also want to check your posting settings and be sure it doesn't state 'anyone'
