Someone put an X On my LCD 40-47inch Tv.. Okay someone Vandlised my Television and Scratched an X

Okay someone Vandlised my Television and Scratched an X with a Key when you turn it on towards the end of the X it went so deep you can see white! Is it ruined and how much do you think it would cost to fix because I have to send it in to the manufactor since no one fixes it since it's a Proton. It's a Spectrum IQ it's only been out since 2006. Would it be just better to go get a new television instead of sending it in or would it be cheaper to fix it!?
